Alessi — Pino | Giovannoni Design Funnel

Alessi Pino - The Kitchen's Most Useful Nose

There's something immediate and disarming about Pino: that unmistakable shape, that long nose that's already a promise of functionality. Holding it while transferring a liquid becomes a light, almost companionable gesture - like finding an old friend in a kitchen drawer.

Why we chose it for you

Founded in 1921 on the shores of Lake Orta, Alessi has built its identity by transforming everyday objects into pieces of material culture. Pino is a precise example of this philosophy: Stefano Giovannoni and Miriam Mirri take the figure of Pinocchio - a character that has entered the texts of pedagogy and psychoanalysis - and reinterpret it as a smiling funnel, where the long nose stops being a lie and becomes the object's most honest feature.
