Alessi — Alessandro M | Mendini Design Stopper

Alessi "Alessandro M" - The Bottle Stopper That Brings a Smile to the Table

There is something disarming about the simplicity of an object that manages to make you smile every time you pick it up. "Alessandro M" belongs to the same family as the iconic "Anna G.", the smiling face that Alessandro Mendini transformed into a small cult classic of Italian design. Even on the table, even in the most everyday gestures, irony can take on its perfect form.

Why we chose it for you

Since 1921, Alessi has been a research laboratory in the field of applied arts: not simply objects, but visions from designers capable of reinventing the relationship between function and beauty. "Alessandro M" was created by Alessandro Mendini - one of the masters of Italian design - as a natural extension of the narrative universe of "Anna G.". A piece that tells a story and, when placed on the table, immediately becomes recognizable.
