Then, with a simple gesture - lifting the hair and rotating the tiers - the sculpture unfolds and becomes a serving stand, ready to hold fruit, sweets, and small delicacies to share. Two natures in a single object, two rituals in one movement.

Why we chose it for you

Anna Gong AM37 is a redesign of one of the most iconic pieces in the Alessi catalog: Alessandro Mendini, a leading theorist of the renewal of Italian design in the 1980s, chose to reinterpret it by giving it the face of his celebrated Anna G corkscrew. The result is an object that exists halfway between applied art and a laid table - exactly the space that Alessi, since 1921, has always known how to inhabit better than anyone else. A collectible piece that gains meaning every time it is used.

Features

Material: 18/10 stainless steel

Dimensions: height 27 cm · length 44 cm · width 20 cm

Function: closed sculptural decorative object; open three-tier serving stand - ideal as a fruit or dessert stand

Designer: Alessandro Mendini

Brand: Alessi, Italy - founded in 1921

Ideal for

A valuable gift for those who furnish their spaces with care and recognize the difference between a beautiful object and a meaningful one.
