AAM01 B | Black and chrome corkscrew","description":"\u003cp\u003eAnna G. is one of those exceptionally rare forms that cease to be objects and become presences. Born to open bottles, this female figure, stylized in black thermoplastic resin and chromed zamak, inhabits the table, drawer, and shelf with the naturalness of someone who knows she is being watched. The double-lever mechanism is concealed within a silhouette that smiles, welcomes, and invites - and the act of opening a bottle becomes a small daily ritual filled with grace.\nDesigned by Alessandro Mendini for Alessi in 1994, Anna G. has over time become one of the undisputed archetypes of Italian design. It belongs to the *A di Alessi* collection - that catalog of domestic objects conceived to exist between function and affection, utility and poetry. Mendini, a master of sophisticated irony and décor as a critical language, built an almost personal narrative around this figure: Anna G. was, in his own words, a real woman whom the designer wanted to pay tribute to through the simplest and most recognizable form that industrial design could produce.\nIn this black and chrome version, the object takes on an added gravity, almost cinematic. The contrast between the matte resin and the metallic reflections of the chromed zamak gives the piece a contemporary character, equally suited to a minimalist kitchen and a thoughtfully curated table setting. It is the perfect gift for anyone who collects design without wanting to burden it with solemnity, and the right purchase for those who want every detail of their home to tell something about them.\nProject notes: height 24.5 cm, diameter 7 cm. Double-lever mechanism integrated into the structure.
