Alessi — Amici BG02/37S4 | Set of 4 18/10 stainless steel butter knives

Four flat blades, a geometry distilled to its essence, the calibrated weight of 18/10 stainless steel that yields to the touch without resisting. The butter knives in the Amici series possess that rare quality belonging to objects that have truly been thought through: they do not impose themselves on the table, they complete it. Fifteen centimeters in length, a slim and almost weightless profile, a presence felt only when they are picked up. Amici is a collection designed by BIG-GAME, a studio founded in 2004 by Augustin Scott de Martinville, Elric Petit and Grégoire Jeanmonod, three designers trained between Lausanne and London who have built their creative philosophy around a precise principle: making objects that always seem to have existed. For Alessi, they developed a line of cutlery that rejects ornamentation and embraces proportion as its only decorative language. The result is a family of pieces that are immediately recognizable as part of a coherent whole, while also interacting with tableware from different periods and styles. At Stilmobili, we chose Amici because it represents exactly what we look for when selecting a tableware object: the ability to be discreetly perfect. These butter knives are designed for those who enjoy setting the table with care, for those who consider weekend breakfast a small domestic ritual not to be left to chance, and for those who want to give a quality gift without giving in to the rhetoric of ostentatious luxury. Project notes: 18/10 stainless steel, length 15 cm, width 1.8 cm, thickness 0.6 cm. Set of four pieces. Dishwasher safe. Part of the broader Amici collection, available in various place setting configurations.
