Alessi — Amici BG02/15 | 18/10 stainless steel cake server

There is something ritualistic about the act of serving a cake. The server slides beneath the pastry, gently lifts the slice, and guides it onto the plate: a movement that deserves a tool to match. Alessi's Amici cake server is made of 18/10 stainless steel - the quintessential noble material in Italian table culture - crafted with the precision that characterizes Crusinallo's production. The form is clean and balanced, with a blade of essential geometry and a handle that sits naturally in the hand, without affectation. The Amici project was born from the collaboration between Alessi and BIG-GAME, the design collective founded in Lausanne in 2004 by Augustin Scott de Martinville, Grégoire Jeanmonod, and Elric Petit. Their approach - often summed up in the phrase "design that has always existed" - aims to create objects that seem to have already found their definitive form, without excess or compromise. Amici is exactly that: a family of cutlery that does not impress through novelty, but wins you over with the quiet balance between proportion, weight, and gesture. At Stilmobili, we chose the Amici collection because it embodies a vision of the table setting that feels true to us: that of those who are not looking for a statement object, but the right object. It is ideal for those who create a carefully curated table without ostentation, for those who give gifts with taste, and for those who know that even a cake server can be the beginning of a thoughtfully conceived collection. Project notes: 18/10 stainless steel, dimensions 25 × 6 × 2.6 cm. Dishwasher safe. Part of the Amici collection, available to coordinate with other pieces in the set.
