Alessi - Resin Corkscrew "Alessandro M" Yellow

Alessandro M — The corkscrew that smiles on your table

There is something disarming about opening a bottle with Anna G.: her smiling face transforms an ordinary moment into a small domestic ritual. Since 1994, this corkscrew has become a cult object, instantly recognizable and beloved, able to sit on the kitchen counter like a member of the family.

Why we chose it for you

Alessandro Mendini — one of the most refined designers on the Italian scene, able to move naturally between art and design — created Anna G. as an ironic tribute to a real woman. Alessi, the historic Italian manufacturer founded in 1921 on Lake Orta and for decades a research laboratory in the applied arts, transformed this corkscrew into an absolute bestseller and an icon of design culture. It is not just a utensil: it is the beginning of an entire family of tableware objects.
