Alessi — AJM110/20 | Jasper Morrison Pots&Pans frying pan

There is an almost moral purity in the way this frying pan occupies space. The polished 18/10 stainless steel reflects the kitchen light discreetly, without showmanship. The long handle balances the weight naturally, inviting the hand to grasp it even before there is anything to cook. The twenty-centimetre diameter is just the right size, neither excessive nor insufficient: a geometry designed to correspond to everyday gestures. Jasper Morrison - undisputed master of anonymous and necessary design - signs this frying pan as part of the *A di Alessi* collection, a project that brings together some of the most rigorous minds in international design around the quintessential domestic object: cookware. Here, Morrison brings his philosophy of "super normal", that aesthetic of obviousness in which form does not justify itself but dissolves into use, becoming as transparent as a well-executed gesture. At Stilmobili, we chose this piece because it perfectly embodies what we seek when we talk about authentic design: the ability to be indispensable without becoming intrusive. It is the ideal frying pan for those who inhabit the kitchen mindfully, for those who consider cooking an act that is as aesthetic as it is nourishing, and for those who want every object on the stove to tell a story of design before one of production. The magnetic steel base ensures compatibility with all types of cooktops, including induction - a technical detail that Morrison transforms into further confirmation of coherence: beautiful, capable, universal. Capacity of one hundred centilitres, total length fifty centimetres. Born for spring, suitable for every season.
