Alessi — AAM33/1 R | Mendini aluminum moka pot, red, 1 cup

There is something profoundly ritualistic about morning coffee, and this moka pot knows it. Cast in aluminum with artisanal perfection that conveys warmth to the touch, the AAM33/1 R by Alessi stands out for its bright red thermoplastic resin handle and knob - a color that is not merely a chromatic choice, but a declaration of identity. In its compact proportions, designed for a single cup, there is an almost poetic concentration: everything necessary, nothing superfluous. The AAM33/1 R belongs to the "A di Alessi" collection, designed by Alessandro Mendini - one of the most influential figures in 20th-century Italian design, theorist, director of Domus and Modo, and father of New Design and Alchimia. With Alessi, Mendini forged one of the most fruitful partnerships in the history of contemporary design, redesigning archetypal Italian kitchen objects with a perspective that combined irony, visual culture, and profound attention to form. The moka pot, the quintessential object of everyday Italian domestic life, became in his hands something more: a small monument to taste. At Stilmobili, we chose this piece because it perfectly expresses what we believe: authentic design does not belong only in living rooms, but also in everyday gestures. The AAM33/1 R is ideal for those who live alone in style, those who appreciate quality gifts made to last, or simply those who do not want to give up beauty, even at seven in the morning.
