Alessi — A09 | Michael Graves Kitchen Timer in black resin

There is something deeply reassuring about the ancient gesture of turning a dial and entrusting time to a mechanism. Alessi's A09 Kitchen Timer translates this everyday ritual into an object with a sculptural presence: a circular, compact, black form - one that asserts itself on the worktop with the discretion of something that knows it has character. The thermoplastic resin, a versatile and contemporary material, houses the internal mechanical movement with silent precision, offering the user an authentic tactile experience, far removed from digital coldness. It was designed by Michael Graves, one of the most influential American architects of postmodernism, who with Alessi forged one of the most fruitful partnerships in the history of domestic design. The A09 timer belongs to the "A di Alessi" collection, created to bring into the kitchen objects that combine rigorous functionality with a distinctive aesthetic. Graves had the rare gift of making everyday utensils worthy of visual attention - not as decoration, but as an affirmation of design culture. We chose it for Stilmobili because it perfectly embodies the philosophy behind our selection: good design does not belong only in the living room. It is ideal for those who want the kitchen - a space for creating, nourishment, and gathering - to express a consistent and thoughtful taste. A perfect gift, both for design enthusiasts and for those who love to cook in style. Design notes: diameter 10.50 cm, height 9.00 cm. Mechanical movement. Black thermoplastic resin.
